Where to watch the 2023 NBA Finals in Denver
Six places to watch games with other Nuggets faithful throughout the series if you can't break the bank for the home games.
Your Denver Nuggets will face the Miami Heat in the 2023 NBA Finals starting this Thursday, June 1. This is the first time in franchise history that the Nuggets have gotten this close to a championship, and they have two-time league MVP Nikola Jokic to thank in large part for being here.
If you’re unable to buy some very expensive Ball Arena tickets to the guaranteed home games, here are six places hosting Finals watch parties where you will surely be able to enjoy this momentous event in Denver basketball history with fellow Nuggets fans.
We’ve put together this list of six places around town where you can watch the whole series:
Ball Arena has hosted playoff watch parties for Nuggets Nation throughout the playoffs and that will continue through the Finals. There to entertain the crowds when the team travels to Miami will be SuperMascot Rocky, Skyline Drumline, Hype Squad and the Nuggets dancers.
Contests and giveaways will be offered throughout the games, parking is free and concessions stands will be open.
Tickets are $20 and proceeds benefit Kroenke Sports Charities.
Location: 2239 E. Colfax Ave.
The Colfax sports bar is the go-to place for Denver sports fanatics. Be sure to arrive early (word on the street is at least two hours in advance) if you’d like to secure seating options. The bar is also home to the DNVR sports podcast, so fans in attendance will most likely see a live post-game recording.
The $10 cover charge also gets you a brew. On weekdays, happy hour will be from 2-4 p.m. and will include half off all drafts and select appetizers and $2 off all specialty cocktails.
Location: 80 S. Madison St
The Cherry Creek bar and grill is named after the late Robert "Chopper" Traviglini, who was a former Nuggets trainer. The bar is widely considered to be one of the best local spots for Denver sports fans. Game day drink specials, a 165-inch HD video wall and more than 30 large HD TV's make this a great place to watch Finals games.
Location: 1901 Wazee St
Starting at 4 p.m., the outdoor plaza will be open to guests to enjoy drinks, food, music before and during halftime. Games will be shown on a 66-foot LED screen.
Tickets are $30. The event is standing room only and strictly 21 and up.
The Rally Hotel will also host $80 VIP watch parties on its third-floor terrace, and Tom's Watch Bar, the official playoff gameday headquarters of the Denver Nuggets, will also be hosting its own watch parties nearby.

"Denver's only gay sports bar" will offer a free "Deep Eddy GAYtorade" shot at the end of each quarter to guests wearing Denver Nuggets gear. The bar has two patios and a buy one, get one free happy hour from 3-8 p.m.
Location: 715 E. 26th Ave
Starting at 5 p.m., $10 will get you a shot, a beer and pizza slice (from Famous J's) at the Five Points bar. Beer choices include High Life, Tecate and Coors. Espolon, Jameson and Jim Bean are the shot options. DJ Azon Classic and Milky.Wav will spin during pregame and breaks.

Finals games will be broadcast on ABC affiliate Denver 7 and you can listen to games on 92.5 FM.
